The application of PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma, can be done at this time during the treatment for even better results and quicker healing. Platelet Rich Plasma is obtained from your own blood, virtually eliminating any rise of a negative reaction. First, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient with a process similar to a routine blood draw. The platelets are then separated from the other blood cells with a centrifuge, resulting in a milky serum with a significant concentration of growth factors and biological nutrient-rich cells. This serum is recommended for use during the micro-needling treatment due to the platelets' ability to respond to tissue injury and initiate repair and healing.

PRP can also be injected into a specific location to target the skin from below, aiding in rebuilding and smoothing the skin from within.
